April 19th Stunting Clinic

Our first monthly stunting and tumbling clinic was a success! Thanks to everyone who attended and everyone who helped out. It was a lot to put together and felt really good to have it be a success! I couldn't have done it without the help of 4 girls. All the girls had a lot of fun and I look forward to the next one in May!

History of the Spirit Stick

In 1954, Lawrence "Herkie" Herkimer invented the spirit stick for a Cheerleading team that stood out above all the other teams with their spirit. It started out as a twig, cut and painted in Herkie's garage. Now the spirit stick, usually plastic and hollow inside, is decorated by the Cheer squad with their teams colors and used as a symbol of tribal spirit, unity, and cooperation.
